The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company has said the outage being experienced in parts of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, is due to a technical fault on its feeder.
The company made this known in a notice on Saturday.
According to AEDC, the affected areas are Zones 1, and 7 and part of Wuse Zone 2.
The firm assured residents that its engineers are working to restore power to the affected areas.
“The current power outage is due to a technical fault in the feeder serving these areas.
“Our team of engineers is working tirelessly to rectify the fault and restore power supply as quickly as possible”, AEDC stated.
