The Edo State Government has given seven days to the State Police Command to fish out the killers of 22-year-old Miss Adekolure Idowu Glory, a recent graduate of the University of Benin, UNIBEN.

Reporter reports that Adekolure was allegedly raped and killed in Iyowa, a community along the Benin-Lagos expressway, Benin City, in Ovia North-East Local Government Area, on Thursday, June 13, 2024.

Governor Godwin Obaseki, who condemned in the strongest terms the alleged rape and gruesome murder of the victim, gave the order to the Edo State Commissioner of Police, Funsho Adegboye, in Benin.

A statement by Commissioner for Communication and Orientation Chris Nehikhare expressed shock and sadness over the incident.
