‘‘Day of Salvation already has a structure, and we’re leveraging that to distribute bags of rice, garri, groundnut oil, and chickens to communities,” Jefferson said.

Jefferson noted the importance of addressing deeper issues that affect communities. It is support for the people because we understand what they are going through. We are here to provide relief items and offer grants for young people, businesswomen, and scholarship to students shortlisted through Day of Salvation programme.”

Reflecting on its success, Jefferson said: “Our testimonies have been phenomenal. In Pakistan, we fed over 5,000 through Missions Week. In Rivers, we empowered over 1,000 students with skills as baking, sewing, and more. This is what we are all about.”

GTN plans to feed over 25,000 in Lagos through Day of Salvation. Jefferson encourages individuals willing to support the mission.

There’s a structure for patnerships, but it’s not limited to brands and companies. We’re open to everyone, and reach out to individuals in need.”

She urged individuals and organisations to support Give The Nations to uplift communities.

Michael Falokun, member of Day of Salvation planning committee, said they are dedicated to winning souls.

He said the day is an occasion for people to turn to Christ, but GTN Missions Week is focused on community intervention.
