The Defence Headquarters has denied a widespread report suggesting the demise of the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa.
Appointed by President Bola Tinubu on June 19, 2023, General Musa is a member of the 38th Regular Course of the Nigerian Defence Academy and was commissioned into the Nigerian Army Infantry Corps on September 21, 1991.
General Musa also holds a Master’s in Defence Studies from the National Defence University in Beijing, China.
Contrary to a report by a newspaper, the Defence Headquarters has confirmed that the Defence Chief is alive and well.
The DHQ in a post on X on Tuesday, November 21, said: “Contrary to recent false publication, the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Gwabin Musa, is alive and well.
