Three foreign based stars join Lesotho camp ahead Super Eagles clash

Motlomelo Mkhwanazi, Bokang Sello and Neo Mokhachane have arrived the Lesotho camp ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The trio, who are based in Botswana, joined their colleagues at the OR Thambo International Airport on Monday (today).

The Likuena are expected to arrive Nigeria on Monday.

Leslie Notsi’s side will fly straight to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.

The contingent will then connect another flight to Uyo.

Lesotho will confront the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Thursday.

They will host the Squirrels of Benin Republic in their next game at the Moses Mahbida Stadium on Tuesday, November 21.

Meanwhile, China based forward, Thabiso Brown is the first foreign based star to arrive the Lesotho camp ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Nigeria.

The Likuena opened camp for the game in Maseru on Friday.

Royal AM striker Motebang Sera is expected to join the team on Saturday (today) having been part of his team matchday squad in Friday’s DSTV Premiership match against Cape Town City.

The rest of the players playing outside the country will link up with the team in Johannesburg on Sunday.

Leslie Notsi’s side will face the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Thursday, November 16.

They will entertain the Squirrels of Benin Republic at the Moses Mahbida Stadium on Tuesday, November 21.
